All diets can be improved, so here are 3 things you can do TODAY to improve your diet, making you one step closer to the body of your dreams.


1) Stop skipping meals. Yes, I'm talking to you! Small, regular meals that are abundant in protein are the best route to building size. Muscle protein synthesis is always higher in the 24 hours after training, but the acute burst in protein synthesis that occurs as a result of training or amino acid intake only lasts for a few hours, so it is easier to fit in the calories you need when you break them down into multiple smaller portions. Don't let yourself skip meals, one way or another, eat every 2 to 3 hours.


2) Jack up your calories on training days. Especially after hitting a high volume leg workout, think smarter with your nutrition. Not every day looks the same. Sometimes the body needs more, so you need to consider this and adjust your calories accordingly


3) Stop trying to be "flexible" with modern day s*** processed food. You need to keep on track with old school, REAL food. None of that all too tempting convenience processed ‘grab and go’ food - it’s not going to provide your body with what it needs to maximise recovery and growth.
